Diplomas in Procurement (QCF)

The Diploma in Procurement (QCF) is a competency based, non-examination qualification that is nationally recognised and approved by OFQUAL (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). This qualification is available from level 3 to level 6 with level 6 being a degree level qualification.

To undertake this qualification you must be working in a related job role to evidence your competency in the procurement process through work-based evidence and knowledge assignments. Our bespoke e-learning system enables contact with your tutor and programme manager, access to support materials and the upload of work for assessment and feedback. You tutor will mentor you throughout and guide you on choosing your optional units.

Learners commence on this qualification at the level appropriate to their job role and experience and this can easily be determined with our centre advisors but a brief overview is given below.

This qualification is delivered by distance learning.

Certificate in Procurement and Supply (QCF) Level 3

For those in a purchasing assistant role or where purchasing in not their full time responsibility i.e. administrator with buying responsibilities.

Diploma in Procurement and Supply (QCF) Level 3
For those that are new to purchasing and /junior buyers. 

Diploma in Procurement (QCF) Level 4
Suitable for people in buying or contracting roles who manage the day to day procurement cycle process. Such people may have responsibility for sourcing goods and services and/or managing supplier relationships.

Diploma in Procurement (QCF) Level 5
Aimed at procurement team leaders and category specialists who have full responsibility for managing a group of commodoties or contracts across the whole procurement process.

Diploma in Procurement and Supply (QCF) Level 6
Designed for people who work in a strategic procurement role at senior level. They will have responsibility for developing either full departmental strategies or strategies for a range of different procurements.
